You would not be alone if you were surprised to hear that this home that is toward the west end of Klatt Road almost to Southport is in the South High attendance zone. I thought I would mention it first in case you Googled that you wanted the kids to attend this sought-after school. So much of the inventory of newer homes in that part of town is $100,000 and more expensive, mostly because those homes are larger.
At the same time, this is a full four bedroom home with 2.5 baths, family room, formal dining and all the rest you expect in a traditional two-story design.
The location backs to bike paths. The owners intentionally left the back fence open because they so enjoy the wildlife that comes by and often stops in their yard. The bike path runs behind and connects with much of the city trail system. If your choice would be to have a fully-fenced back yard you only need to provide the back fence, and tie to neighbor fences on the east and west lot lines.
Unlike many homes of this size (about 2000 sq.ft.) and age, this home has many dressy upgrades. The kitchen has Corion countertops and 42 inch maple cabinets that extend to the ceiling. It is immaculate in condition, being the home of a couple with no kids or pets. The garage has a special epoxy coating that makes it very easy to clean and looks bright and dressy. The furnace has an air cleaning system and humidifier.
