This is one of those homes I vividly remember from the day my clients first discover it. My litmus test is "how will I feel when it comes time to sell and move"?
Of course I'm sad to see clients leave town. But the other consideration is: how will the home do in the marketplace?
I'm not worried about this one.
It's one of the most gracious and just plain pretty homes I've been pleased to represent in a long time.

No kids.
No pets.
They both have full-time jobs and are only home in the evenings and weekends. They travel regularly, too.
What they especially enjoy is making their home and landscaping beautiful. All the decking, patio area, custom flower boxes leading up the front stairs, the real stone retaining walls and landscaping accents reflect their hard work, expertise and appreciation of beautiful surroundings.
You might think this home was professionally "staged". No so: they just live this way. It's called pride of ownership.
"What's really special about your home?" I asked. "The view and sun exposure," they are quick to reply. "The way the sun migrates across the western sky. Every week the sunset is a little different. In the winter 'way down there in the southwest. Later it sets near Iliamna, then Redoubt, then Mt Spur. By summer it's 'way up there in the northwest, long after we go to bed. We love a glass of wine on the deck as the sun goes down."
